The Crete-Monee School District 201-U Personnel & Culture Team hosted the South Suburban HR Administrators Meeting on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the Early Learning Center in Crete.
Personnel & Culture/Human Resource administrators from southern Cook and Will counties meet regularly to network and discuss the latest trends, laws, and procedures in the human resources field. Roughly 30 administrators attended the meeting on Friday from various school districts in the surrounding area. This meeting provided the Personnel & Culture Team at CMSD 201-U the opportunity to interact with other business professionals and collaborate with others in order to accomplish best practices. Topics discussed included: hiring processes, bilingual needs, Faith’s Law requirements, Teacher Tenure laws, evaluations, IDPH guidelines, job fair planning, and SSHRA Leadership planning.
