CMHS STUDENT-ATHLETES LAUDED FOR RESILIENCE AND TENACITY
Coaches reflect on students' determination despite the pandemic at today's National College Signing Day

Resilience and hard work were words used many times today to describe this year's crop of student-athletes at National College Signing Day at Crete-Monee High School. Coaches recounted the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the athletes and their sports in 2020 but remarked how these students never gave up their dreams to compete. Parents, grandparents, family members, and excited classmates cheerfully applauded the 12 athletes as their colleges were announced by the coaching staff. "CM 201-U is extremely proud of our student-athletes who prove to us all that despite difficulty and challenge, hard work and tenacity always pay off," said Superintendent Coglianese. Whether they plan to attend a community college, a 4-year university, a certificate program, the military, or any other education past high school, College Signing Day is a day to celebrate the hard work and dedication of student-athletes! #GOWARRIORS
