Join us on Tuesday, September 19, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Crete-Monee Middle School (Little Theatre, 635 Olmstead Rd., University Park, IL 60484) to learn how CM 201-U and the Golden Apple Foundation have partnered together to create this opportunity for those seeking their teaching license.
The Golden Apple Accelerators Program provides a path to teaching for career-changers and college seniors who commit to living and teaching in targeted school districts in southern, central, and western Illinois for four years after obtaining their teaching license.
Benefits include:
- Teaching license within 15 months
- Paid tuition and fees through one of Golden Apple’s partner universities/colleges
- Stipend of $10,000 for additional education expenses
- Pursue coursework and earn credit at a partner university
- Instruction from award-winning educators
- Mentoring in the first years of teaching
- Job placement with a partner school district
- One-year residency and training program with a partner school district
- Begin teaching full-time Fall 2025
