The Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) has honored Crete-Monee School District’s Board of Education for its outstanding governance practices.

The buzz of excitement was electric on August 19 th as Crete-Monee School District 201-U staff kicked off the new school year!

Crete-Monee 201-U held its annual new hire orientation from August 12 to 14. The three-day orientation started on Monday with breakfast and warm welcomes from district leadership, who emphasized the district's commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.

This year’s event, held on Saturday, August 10, was a tremendous success, drawing families, students, and community members together for a day filled with essential resources, fun activities, and heartfelt connections.

Crete-Monee School District 201-U has launched its 2024-2028 strategic plan, designed to guide the district’s priorities and vision for the future.
