Crete-Monee teachers and staff received a parade-worthy greeting on Monday, August 19 as they arrived at Opening Day activities at Crete-Monee High School. Staff was greeted by members of the CMHS Color Guard, NJROTC, and Cheerleading squad! From a continental breakfast to engraved CM 201-U PopSocket giveaways, the day was filled with excitement and a celebratory spirit. The CMHS Show Choir was also on hand to perform two exciting selections. Supt. Dr. Kara Coglianese presented the district's newly-approved 4-Year Strategic Plan as well as the theme for the 2019-20 school year, Building Bridges, even as she challenged staff to "make connections with your students, their families, and colleagues." The event ended on a high-note as staff, administrators, and our school board danced to the popular 70's dance hit, Celebration! "The event really captured the excitement among staff and expectations for a great new school year!" said Dr. Kara.
