CM 201-U Strategic Planning Workgroup Meeting

The Crete-Monee School District 201-U held its second Strategic Planning Workgroup meeting on Wednesday, March 20, with approximately 50 members participating.

During the session, Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning, Ghantel Perkins, delivered a State of the District presentation to the workgroup. Attendees discussed key indicators of success, academic goal setting, and identified strengths and potential areas of growth for the Crete-Monee School District 201-U moving forward.

Additionally, Donovan Group partner, Dr. Lori Mueller, led a discussion about impacts on student achievement and strategies to improve student outcomes, as well as effective mission statement components. The workgroup comprises an inclusive group of parents, teachers and staff, administrators, and community members.

“We are continually impressed and sincerely grateful for the dedication, expertise, and diverse perspectives contributed by the members of this workgroup to our strategic planning process,” said Dr. Kara Coglianese, Superintendent. “The discussions and insights shared in this meeting are coming together in order for the school district to establish a solid foundation and shape the future trajectory and focus of Crete-Monee schools.”

The next workgroup meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 17.
