The district’s Personnel & Culture Team hosted the Redefining ‘U’ Challenge for staff from February 17 through March 27, promoting healthy habits and overall wellness through friendly competition in a supportive, private environment. This initiative aligns with the district’s strategic plan to enhance staff well-being and is part of our comprehensive wellness efforts.

This six-week wellness challenge focused on helping participants feel their best physically, mentally, and emotionally. While weight loss may have been a goal for some, the true emphasis was on building sustainable, long-term lifestyle changes—not quick fixes. Redefining “U” encouraged safe, realistic habits like moving more, improving nutrition, staying hydrated, getting quality sleep, and managing stress.

After six weeks of hard work, consistency, and dedication, the winners of the Redefining “U” Health, Weight & Wellness Challenge were announced as we celebrated everyone who took part in the journey. Whether participants lost a few pounds, became more active, built healthier habits, or simply stayed committed to themselves, every effort mattered—and every step forward is worth celebrating.
