It takes a village, and for Crete-Monee School District 201-U, it not only takes a village but also for us; it takes all four villages to form true unity to support and provide a safe environment for our students.
On Friday, September 2, 2022, a robust community male mentor presence was noticeable at Crete-Monee High School by providing an extra layer of community presence.
Mr. Donzell Franklin, community liaison, continues to support the district and school administration with supporting a local presence as seen here that Friday.
Our community mentors included some of our students’ fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and older brothers. As we continue this school year, we will further build bridges between the community and the school.
