Joshua Tomas, an alumnus of Crete-Monee High School (2018), is currently enrolled at Georgetown University. Joshua has continued to play football while pursuing an undergraduate degree in Economics.
On Monday, October 3, Joshua received an honorable mention for his offensive performance as a wide receiver by the Patriot League office. Patriot League football major awards and All-League teams were voted on by the Seven-League football head coaches who are not allowed to vote for their own student-athletes or themselves.
Joshua Tomas was mentioned for his outstanding performance in ten caught passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns in Georgetown's loss at Fordham. He became the fifth player in Georgetown Hoya's history to eclipse 2000 receiving yards, moving into fourth place in program history.
Congratulations, Joshua Tomas!
