Milton Payton, former Crete-Monee School District 201-U Board President, attended the National Honors Society Induction ceremony on January 20, 2023, to witness his last grandchild within the district accepting the Honors. The CMHS Milton Payton Performing Arts Auditorium is the namesake of Mr. Milton Payton.
Superintendent Coglianese and Board member Jeanine Galbraith seized this opportunity to pay tribute to him and present a token of appreciation for his work with the district.
