The Crete-Monee School District 201-U (District 201-U) Facebook (Crete-Monee School District 201-U)
and Twitter pages (@CM201U)
have been created and maintained by the Communications Department for the purpose of engaging parents, students, community, alumni, and other stakeholder groups. These pages have been developed to complement but not replace traditional outreach efforts such as the district website, school newsletters, etc. We encourage you to remain informed on the latest district happenings by visiting our website on a regular basis. The District 201-U Facebook and Twitter pages will share important news, upcoming events, student and staff achievements, athletic updates, emergency closings, and announcements from the Superintendent and Board of Education. It is expected that all participants will treat each other with respect and civility.
District 201-U reserves the right, but is not obligated, to block followers/fans or remove their comments on our Facebook and Twitter pages that contain commercial solicitations; are factually erroneous or libelous; divulge personal student or staff information or otherwise invade the privacy of others; or that otherwise violate Twitter or Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. Individuals are prohibited from “posting” or making comments which contain vulgar, abusive, intimidating, harassing, offensive, discriminatory or threatening language or images; may incite violence; disrupt the educational process; are election campaigns for a political office or ballot proposition; are considered spam or include links to other websites; or infringe on copyrights or trademarks. This comment policy is subject to amendment or modification at any time.
The District welcomes a healthy two-way dialogue with the CM201-U community. We encourage all comments to be phrased respectfully, factually, and constructively.
Crete-Monee School District 201-U and @CM201U are the only two social media pages which the District supports and maintains.
