CMMS science teacher receives MSI Distinguished Teacher Award from the Museum of Science & Industry

District Goods & Services

The Crete-Monee School District has numerous opportunities for businesses to provide a wide range of products as well as technical and consulting services. Any qualified individual or business who has a product or service to sell can become a supplier for the district.

In order to become a supplier and be eligible to do business with CM201-U, your business must meet the following requirements:

  1. Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and statutes.
  2. Suppliers must comply with The Prevailing Wage Act 820 ILCS 130/.01 – Construction of Public Works.

The list below has been provided as an example—it is not an inclusive list. Check our bid proposal list regularly for notices of opportunities. If you have questions concerning vendor qualifications, please feel free to call (708) 367-8320.

  • Computers, Communication Equipment, Technology Tools, and Related Services – Computer hardware, technological tools such as Smart Boards, phones, phone service, radio devices, cameras, printers, scanners, computer peripherals, and computer services such as servers, cabling, networking, work productivity software solutions and training are powerful instruction tools used in the schools and administrative departments. Please contact our Technology Department for more information concerning the district’s technology needs.
  • Transportation – Transportation is a vital service contracted by the Board of Education for field trips, charter service, and the safe delivery of children to and from school. Please contact our Transportation Department for more information concerning district transportation needs.
  • Construction Related Projects – Please contact our Maintenance Department concerning ongoing or upcoming projects related to construction.
  • Food and Food Services – The school system provides breakfast and lunch programs for the students. Food staples, supplies, and equipment have to be purchased. Please contact our Food Service Department for more information.
  • Energy—The district seeks to attain the best prices for natural gas and electricity and we seek for alternative forms of energy as well as well as methods, tools or materials that will help the district conserve energy. Please contact our Maintenance Department for more information concerning district energy needs.
  • Maintenance Supplies and Equipment—Cleaning supplies, large and small equipment, and service contracts are needed to maintain the buildings and grounds of the district. Please contact our Maintenance Department for more information concerning district maintenance and supply needs.
  • Office Supplies – Please contact the Purchasing Department for all questions regarding the purchase of general office supplies or equipment.
  • Educational Textbooks and Supplies—Students need textbooks and related educational materials to assist in educational process. Please contact our Curriculum Department for more information concerning district educational textbook and supply needs.
