UIC student and CMHS alum shares love of engineering with girls as member of Society of Women Engineers

Paid Ridership
Program Information
State funding is not provided for students who live less than one and one half mile from their school of attendance.  Students who wish to be transported to school via school bus will be required to pay ridership fees. Students who live more than one and one half miles from the school of attendance will not be required to pay ridership fees.


Transportation fees for the school year are:

Semester 1 Fees

  • $271 per student

Semester 2 Fees

  • $271 per student

If you are interested in having your students transported via school bus, please fill out the Application for Paid Transportation and return it along with your payment (checks can be made payable to CM201U) to 1500 Sangamon St., Crete, IL 60417.

Waiting Period
Paid Riders must wait two weeks after the first day of school before transportation is provided. After your application has been submitted and received, along with your payment, you will be notified when service becomes available for your student(s).
