Dear Parents:

My name is Mr. Klinger. This year I am teaching Algebra 2, College Algebra and Trigonometry. I have taught all of these courses before.

I have always loved math. My senior year in high school is when I decided to become a teacher. I went to Illinois State University (GO REDBIRDS). I taught at two other high schools for five years before coming to Crete-Monee. Now, I am starting my 10th year here and loving it. I received a master’s degree from Governors State University in 2008.

My wife and I have two sons. Nicholas is 10 years old and is starting 5th grade. Evan just turned 5 and is in kindergarten.

I am a huge sports fan. I schedule my weekends around the NASCAR schedule. (No lie, just ask my wife). Dale Earnhardt Sr. was/is my favorite driver. When racing is not on I will watch just about any sport, except for soccer. For the record, I am a Sox and Bears fan.

I truly enjoy watching the Warriors games. I will try to get to as many contests I can. I hope to see you there.

I hope that your children have as much fun learning from me, as I will teaching them.

Mr. Klinger
