My name is Ms. Kara O’Sullivan. I am happy to serve Crete-Monee High School as a science teacher. I have been an educator since 2017, serving Crete-Monee High School since 2017. I am passionate about giving back to communities similar to those that I grew up in the south suburbs. I received my bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences Teacher Education from Illinois State University. Go Redbirds!
My philosophy of education is simple. I believe that all students deserve an equal opportunity to learn. I have high expectations for all of my students, and I will provide them with the tools necessary to become successful, both inside and outside the classroom. My goal as an educator is for students to engage in a science curriculum that both inspires and challenges them to think critically and formulate questions about the natural world. I hope to help each of my students find their passion and pursue it, no matter what it is.
I look forward to a great school year at Crete-Monee High School!
