We are always very excited to join parents, teachers and students on the journey through another school year. As in life, we anticipate setbacks as well as many successes along the way. What we believe is most important in either case, is that all of us work together as a “team” to support your child. In order to do so, an open line of communication is essential.
As in previous years, your child who receives speech and language services will be getting a new speech folder. This folder should be brought to speech therapy every time we meet. It will contain not only homework assignments, but also can serve as one mode of communication between parents and the therapists. Secondly, please don’t hesitate to call with questions or concerns. Our direct line is 367-4722. If we are not available, please leave us a voicemail and one of us will get back to you as soon as possible. Thirdly, we can be reached by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
We look forward to working with your child as a team to achieve academic success and to ensure that he or she is learning and using effective communication today and in his/her future.
