Welcome Letter from Ashley Chismark
Welcome to the Monee Education Center! I am looking forward to seeing the positive developments of our student and am delighted to transition back to the position of school social worker for MEC.
Prior to joining Crete Monee 201U I studies social work at Olivet Nazarene University, graduating with a Bachelors in Social Work in 2006. I went on to receive my Masters in Social Work from Loyola University’s advanced standing program in 2007.
Prior to joining the MEC team, I had the opportunity to provide social work services at Crete Monee High School. I began my career in CPS at a public high school then moved to an alternative school in Chicago Heights.
This year I will be providing social work services to students with disabilities and general education students who struggle to maintain building expectations at their home school. I provide group and individual counseling, crisis management, de-escalation, and work with the community to provide the best support for our students. I look forward to any assistance I can provide to your family in order for your child to achieve not only academic success, but experience positive, social and emotional growth as well. If you have any questions regarding the social work services being provided to your child, or have any concerns for your child, please feel free to contact me at (708) 367-2667.
