I am David Hall and I have been a Warrior since 2001. I am currently an Administrative Dean at Crete-Monee High School. I have also held positions in the district as Dean of Students and Administrative Dean since 2008. I worked as a Regional Director and Center Director at an Educational Alternative company. I also taught at Walther, a Lutheran High School in Melrose Park Illinois. I was hired at Crete-Monee High School in 2001 as a Special Education teacher and held that position for four years. During my term as a Special Education teacher, I taught instructional classes and ran an E.D. classroom. The next three years, I was a Social Studies teacher in a general education classroom. During my tenure at Crete-Monee High School, I was a Football, Girls Basketball, and Boys Baseball coach.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education/ Social Sciences from Northeastern Illinois University. I also attended Concordia University River Forest where I played football. I received a Master of Arts Degree from Governors State University. I also have additional college credits in Special Education and School Guidance Counseling.
My instructional philosophy is that I believe all students can achieve high standards. I believe in challenging students within the classroom while creating a comfortable and respectful learning environment for them. Having a respectful climate in the classroom is vital for learning to take place. All students bring their own individual ideas and talents to the class. In learning each student’s unique qualities, I can use this to help them achieve higher standards. At Crete-Monee High School students are given opportunities to show their independence and creativity. I like to think I am a true Warrior that bleeds blue and Gold, Go Warriors!!!
