My name is Ms. Lewandowski and I am thrilled to be a part of the Crete-Monee community! I am a Social Science teacher at Crete-Monee High School. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Francis in May 2016 and have been involved in the world of education since graduating.
I believe that every student is capable of success! My job as an educator is to help my students achieve success each and every day. It is my expectation that students will reach their full potential in my history classes. By studying history, students will be able to analyze, interpret, and investigate information to draw conclusions and summarize events. It is my belief that social studies cultivate life skills that are vital for success after high school. Students can use these skills in their professional and personal lives wherever their journey takes them. This is why I challenge my students so they can grow and find success in my classroom. Many topics will require students to think critically and expand their understanding. By participating, asking questions, and engaging in the learning process, students will find success in my classroom.
I look forward to a fantastic school year!
