CMMS science teacher receives MSI Distinguished Teacher Award from the Museum of Science & Industry

Mission

I want to channel the concerns and interests of teachers and parents to the administration, to represent the interests of these parties in how we fund, support learning and preparing our kids for their future.

Personal

I am a sixteen year resident of 201-U. I married my high school dearest Karen. I am involved in several leadership roles with community organizations and activities. We have four children and a three year old grandson name Carter. Our three daughters are Karees an Actuary and professional singer, Kimberly a CPS Teacher, Kyla a Cellular Molecular Microbiologist Scientist, all are graduates from the University of Illinois and son Maurice a private pilot and Junior at SIU Carbondale, pursuing a career in Meteorology and Aviation.

Career

Advance Nuclear Instructor for the National Academic of Nuclear Training
Developed and taught lesson plans to educate Engineers and other technical personnel in vital courses required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Senior Electrical Engineer and an IEEE member
I am presently ensuring the reliability and availability of power for critical electrical customer structures, including Sears (Willis) Tower, Chicago’s City Hall, Cellular Field, Soldier Field, Trump Tower, O’Hare and Midway Airports.

Monee Township Trustee
Duties include adopting the annual budget, serving as a board of finance and approving township contracts. In addition, I am the Youth Committee Chairperson.

Education

To prepare myself to better serve the public at large, I am presently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Education and hold several advance technical degrees as well as relevant degrees:
  • Masters in Business Administration
  • Masters in Project Management
  • Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in non for profit Government.
