Educational Philosophy

I believe...

  • That all students have the right and ability to be successful in their academic pursuits.
  • That students need a structured environment where expectations and classroom rigor are high.
  • That students will flourish in an environment that has clear and consistent messages in regards to academic achievement.
  • That teaching students how to think is as important as teaching students curricular components of a class.
  • That it is the school community’s responsibility to prepare students to compete in an ever-changing global community.
  • That if the aforementioned components are met a school community will have developed students who are life long learners and are ready for the challenges of the 21st century.
